Roof Replacement
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most residential roof replacements are completed in 1-3 days depending on the size and complexity. Larger homes or those requiring structural repairs may take longer. We'll give you a specific timeline during your estimate.
What roofing materials do you recommend?
We work with top manufacturers including GAF, Owens Corning, and CertainTeed. For most Florida homes, we recommend architectural shingles for their durability and wind resistance. Metal roofing is excellent for maximum longevity. We'll discuss all options during your consultation.
Will you remove my old roof?
Yes, we perform a complete tear-off of your existing roofing materials down to the decking. This allows us to inspect the deck for damage, ensure proper installation, and provide the best warranty coverage.
What happens if it rains during my roof replacement?
We closely monitor weather forecasts and plan accordingly. If unexpected rain occurs, we have tarps and materials ready to protect your home. Your home is never left exposed overnight.
How much does a new roof cost?
Roof replacement costs vary based on size, pitch, material choice, and complexity. Most residential roofs in our area range from $8,000 to $25,000+. We provide detailed, itemized estimates so you know exactly what you're paying for.
Insurance & Storm Damage
Do you help with insurance claims?
Yes, we have extensive experience working with insurance companies on storm damage claims. We'll document the damage, meet with adjusters, and help ensure you get fair coverage for repairs. We work with all major insurance carriers.
How do I know if I have storm damage?
Signs include missing or damaged shingles, granules in gutters, dents on metal vents or flashing, water stains on ceilings, and visible debris impact marks. We offer free storm damage inspections to assess your roof's condition.
Should I file an insurance claim?
If you have significant damage that exceeds your deductible, filing a claim often makes sense. We can inspect your roof and give you an honest assessment of whether a claim is worthwhile before you contact your insurance company.
Do you offer emergency tarping?
Yes, we provide 24/7 emergency tarping services to prevent further damage after storms. If your roof is actively leaking or has significant damage, call us immediately at (352) 272-8854.
Warranties & Protection
What warranty do you offer?
We provide a 5-year workmanship warranty on all installations. Additionally, manufacturer warranties range from 25-50 years depending on the materials chosen. Some systems qualify for enhanced lifetime warranties.
Are your warranties transferable?
Yes, our workmanship warranty transfers to new homeowners if you sell your home. Manufacturer warranty transfer policies vary, but most offer some level of transferability.
What's covered under the workmanship warranty?
Our workmanship warranty covers installation defects, improper flashing or sealing, and any issues resulting from our installation work. If something we did causes a problem, we fix it at no cost.
Financing & Payment
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options to help make your roofing project affordable. Options include 0% interest for qualifying customers, low monthly payments, and terms from 12-120 months. Ask about current promotions during your estimate.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. For insurance claims, we work with your insurance company on payment arrangements. Financing is available for those who prefer monthly payments.
Do I need to pay upfront?
For most projects, we require a deposit to order materials, with the balance due upon completion. For insurance claims, we often work directly with your insurance company. We'll explain payment terms clearly before any work begins.
Process & Scheduling
How quickly can you start my project?
Our scheduling depends on current workload and material availability. Typically, we can begin within 1-3 weeks of signing a contract. Emergency repairs and storm damage get priority scheduling.
Do I need to be home during the work?
You don't need to be home the entire time. We'll coordinate access to your property and keep you updated on progress. We do ask that you're available for the final walkthrough when we complete the project.
What happens during a roof installation?
We protect your landscaping, tear off old materials, inspect and repair decking as needed, install underlayment and new roofing materials, clean up thoroughly, and conduct a final inspection with you.
How do you protect my property during work?
We use tarps to protect landscaping and collect debris. We use magnetic rollers to pick up nails. At the end of each day, we clean up the work area. Your property should look better than when we started.
